Amerigo is seeking a Part-Time Resident Assistant in Torrance, California, to support international high school students by mentoring, guiding, and maintaining a safe residential environment.
Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing the residential experience, ensuring students' welfare, coordinating activities, and providing academic and moral guidance.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience in a residential setting, ability to work evenings and weekends, and familiarity with technology.
Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant experience, valid U.S. Driver's License, and willingness to work with adolescents in a multicultural environment.
Location: Located in Torrance, California.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $15 - $25 per hour.

Position Overview
The Resident Assistant is a part-time position (part-time hours/week, ten months per year) that oversees all tasks and activities related to the student residential experience at the Amerigo campus location. Resident Assistants work with the campus team to maintain a safe, healthy, and engaging residential atmosphere for international high school students from around the globe. Developing strong relationships with the students and members of the Amerigo team is essential to this position. Residential Assistants must be willing to take a proactive, hands-on approach in working with students to solve problems and conflicts and to offer academic, disciplinary, and moral guidance as needed.
