Amplify is seeking a SecOps Engineer CoOp to join its DevSecOps teams, focusing on building and integrating security tools for their education platform. This role offers exposure to cybersecurity best practices while supporting engineers in creating reliable and secure applications for K-12 education.
Responsibilities: Provide support to engineering teams, advocate for best practices in security, integrate security into CI/CD processes, build secure data pipelines, and participate in knowledge sharing and security policy development.
Skills: Knowledge of computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity fundamentals, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Qualifications: Pursuing a BS/MS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent, and experience with cloud service providers and commonly used tools like Linux, Jenkins, AWS, and BurpSuite is preferred.
Location: Remote job based in the United States, no additional travel required.
Compensation: $62400 - $62400 / Annually

You’ll join our organization as a SecOps Engineer CoOp, helping build and integrate the tools that keep our systems and data secure. Our SecOps Engineers take a proactive role in building best-practices and sharing that culture, with a strong focus on building custom automation and innovative usage and integration of 3rd party cyber-security tooling with our internal workflows.
