- Circuit design and mixed-signal electronics
- Sensor integration and interfacing
- Power electronics and converter design
- Full-cycle PCB design and bring-up
- Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, thermal chamber, current probes)
- Familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI and similar interfaces
- Experience with EMI testing and mitigation
- Comfortable with electronic CAD tools (Altium preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and validate Battery Management Systems (BMS) for autonomous vehicles
- Perform vehicle-level integrations and lifecycle design from concept through production
- Full-cycle PCB design: requirements, schematic, component selection, layout oversight or completion, bring-up, test, debug and system integration
- Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses for electronic equipment
- Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews
- Build up and test engine/system components in lab, ground, and flight tests
- Perform root cause analysis in support of field operations
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
