Senior Electrical Test Automation Engineer, Intelligence Systems
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years designing functional test equipment and PCBAs
- Experience with schematic capture and PCBA layout
- Proficient scripting for automation (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Perl, Shell)
- Familiarity with communication bus protocols (USB, I2C, I2S, CSI, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, HDMI, CAN)
- Understanding of memory hierarchy and memory test strategies
- Experience across prototype-to-production product release cycles
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver turnkey functional test systems and test hardware for electronic products and PCBAs
- Create schematic capture and PCBA layouts to support test-fixture and validation designs
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Perl, Shell)
- Define and execute test and validation strategies for peripherals, memory, and communication interfaces
- Integrate test systems with manufacturing processes and support contract manufacturers and internal production
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineering teams to improve product quality and manufacturability
- Own test coverage gaps, release-phase deliverables, and sustainment of test infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with program security requirements and maintain necessary clearances
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
