Skills
- Strong experience with deep learning, object detection, and object tracking
- Proficient Python programming and production/research workflow development
- Experience training, evaluating, and iterating vision models (detection, tracking, segmentation, classification, sensor fusion)
- Experience deploying or optimizing ML systems for constrained, real-time, or edge compute environments
- Familiarity with multi-sensor fusion and handling varied sensing modalities
- Ability to work across the full ML lifecycle from problem formulation to deployment and monitoring
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy computer vision and perception models for edge-compatible, mission-critical environments
- Build and integrate multi-sensor perception systems that fuse imagery, video, and other sensor data into coherent battlefield views
- Improve fidelity, accuracy, and robustness of object, activity, and environment understanding across varied operational conditions
- Integrate state-of-the-art ML algorithms into production systems used in real-world customer deployments
- Develop mission-relevant evaluation frameworks, datasets, and benchmarks to measure perception performance in the field
- Collaborate with software, autonomy, product, and deployment teams to transition research into operational capabilities
- Identify new perception and battlefield-understanding problems where computer vision advances can drive major product impact
Education
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning or related technical field
- Advanced degree preferred for research-focused positions (MS/PhD)
