- Supplier qualification and industrialization experience in electronics
- Deep familiarity with electronics manufacturing and SMT processes
- Experience with GD&T and PCB/PCBA production requirements
- Ability to conduct supplier audits and on-site process assessments
- Experience implementing SPC and production process controls
- Strong problem solving for root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Comfortable with frequent travel (≥50%) and hands-on supplier engagement
Responsibilities
- Own electrical commodities (cables, harnesses, capacitors, connectors, PCB/PCBA, chips) and drive supplier production strategies from NPI through full-rate production
- Assess and qualify supplier facilities, layouts, tooling, and workforce for inclusion on the Approved Supplier List
- Manage supplier production bring-up, tooling installation, and validation at supplier sites to meet performance and SQE quality criteria
- Drive capacity expansion readiness and production ramp plans at suppliers
- Establish and maintain process performance controls (SPC) and lead regular performance reviews with suppliers
- Partner with Supply Chain, SQE, and sourcing teams to close root cause corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and implement product and factory layout optimizations to reduce cost, cycle time, and supply risk
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (preferred)
