Sr. Program Quality Engineer

Anduril Industries' Rocket Motor Systems group is developing next-generation solid rocket motors for defense and space applications. The Sr. Program Quality Engineer will define and execute program and supplier quality plans, lead nonconformance and CAPA activities, support audits and FAI/qualification testing, and drive continuous improvement across programs in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Skills

  • Experience implementing AS9100/ISO9001 and customer-specific flow-downs
  • Proficiency with RCA, CAPA, nonconformance management, FAI (AS9102), GD&T, control plans
  • Experience with PPAP or equivalent qualification methodologies
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management across matrixed teams
  • Experience supporting audits and interacting with government quality representatives
  • Willingness and ability to obtain a Federal Explosives License and U.S. security clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation and management of customer and supplier quality flow-downs across the contract lifecycle
  • Create and maintain Program Quality Plans, Product Control Plans (PCP), and Inspection Plans (IP)
  • Support supplier, customer, and internal audits and manage nonconformance/MRB activities
  • Drive RCA and CAPA processes to resolve production and quality issues
  • Support FAI (AS9102), qualification testing, and review of contract deliverable data packages
  • Assess supplier capability and monitor supplier performance
  • Interface with program management, customers, suppliers, DCMA/government reps when applicable
  • Provide quality inputs to program reviews and production readiness activities

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial/Manufacturing) or related technical field required
  • Master's degree in engineering or related field preferred
