Sr. Program Quality Engineer
Skills
- Experience implementing AS9100/ISO9001 and customer-specific flow-downs
- Proficiency with RCA, CAPA, nonconformance management, FAI (AS9102), GD&T, control plans
- Experience with PPAP or equivalent qualification methodologies
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management across matrixed teams
- Experience supporting audits and interacting with government quality representatives
- Willingness and ability to obtain a Federal Explosives License and U.S. security clearance
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and management of customer and supplier quality flow-downs across the contract lifecycle
- Create and maintain Program Quality Plans, Product Control Plans (PCP), and Inspection Plans (IP)
- Support supplier, customer, and internal audits and manage nonconformance/MRB activities
- Drive RCA and CAPA processes to resolve production and quality issues
- Support FAI (AS9102), qualification testing, and review of contract deliverable data packages
- Assess supplier capability and monitor supplier performance
- Interface with program management, customers, suppliers, DCMA/government reps when applicable
- Provide quality inputs to program reviews and production readiness activities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial/Manufacturing) or related technical field required
- Master's degree in engineering or related field preferred
