Staff Product Quality Engineer

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on accelerating military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking. The Quality organization seeks a Staff Product Quality Engineer to lead product and supplier quality improvements for the Pulsar product, build robust manufacturing process control plans, and drive reliability across the product lifecycle.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field
  • Experience managing a small engineering team
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 QMS requirements
  • Experience with RF and electronic systems, preferably EW
  • Familiarity with device function testing and ESS/HASS
  • Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, and GD&T
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes
  • Experience with RCCA and MRB activities
  • Ability to obtain and hold a US Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver quality improvement initiatives for production and supplier execution of Pulsar products.
  • Manage a small team of quality engineers and specialists to resolve production execution and quality issues.
  • Eliminate product risk and improve reliability across the product lifecycle, from manufacturing to field use.
  • Partner with production and development engineering to define incoming inspection, process control plans, and end-of-line tests.
  • Define and drive the production roadmap and product quality scorecard across cross-functional teams.
  • Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) processes and verify effectiveness.
  • Perform product health data analysis, support customer quality issues, refurbishment testing, and QA control.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, documentation, and team training.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field (required)
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
