- Proven leadership of complex hardware development programs through full hardware lifecycle.
- Strong systems engineering knowledge and familiarity with software, networking, and embedded systems.
- Client-facing program management experience with ability to translate technical trade-offs into business impact.
- Experience ensuring compliance with defense regulations (ITAR, RMF) and working with government stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Define and align program roadmaps, schedules, and resource plans to ensure delivery and production readiness across multiple hardware programs.
- Act as primary liaison between research, engineering, product, business, and government stakeholders, ensuring clear goals, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Support technical teams by understanding architectures, resolving trade-offs, and ensuring compliance with ITAR, RMF, and other defense requirements.
- Identify, track, and mitigate technical, schedule, and compliance risks; proactively remove roadblocks to maintain program momentum.
- Manage supplier, partner, and government relationships; prepare and present program updates, technical briefs, and performance reports.
- Implement and refine program execution processes, knowledge management, and CI/CD/QA practices to improve efficiency and production quality.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced degree preferred but not required.
