As a WordPress Specialist, you’ll lead the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of high-performing websites—combining technical expertise with an eye for design, SEO, and conversion. You’ll work on redesigning and enhancing existing pages, building new ones, and ensuring every element is fully optimized for user experience and search visibility. You’ll also contribute to scalable website systems, ongoing maintenance, and performance improvements that drive measurable results.

About the Role

A dynamic Fractional Growth Partner, working with fast-growing businesses across multiple industries, is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented WordPress Specialist to elevate and optimize their digital presence. 

This role focuses on WordPress development, SEO optimization, conversion-focused design, and ongoing website maintenance. You will be responsible for redesigning fully SEO-optimized pages for improved performance, building new pages as the business scales, and ensuring websites are both technically sound and conversion-driven. 

If you excel at WordPress development, have strong SEO expertise, and can blend design with performance optimization in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you.

• Redesign existing SEO-optimized WordPress pages to enhance user experience, visual appeal, and conversion rates.

• Build and customize WordPress websites and landing pages across multiple client projects, ensuring responsive and mobile-first design.
• Implement on-page SEO best practices including meta tags, schema markup, internal linking, and keyword optimization.
• Optimize website performance, improving page speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall technical SEO health.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to create high-converting landing pages and funnels.
• Conduct regular website audits to identify SEO gaps, UX issues, and conversion bottlenecks
• Manage ongoing website maintenance, including updates, bug fixes, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and proactive recommendations to improve SEO performance and user engagement
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development and website management (must-have)
• Strong expertise in SEO (on-page, technical SEO, and performance optimization) (must-have)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and WordPress page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, or similar) Experience improving conversion rates through UX/UI and landing page optimization
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical website issues independently
• Experience working in fast-paced, multi-project environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Experience with multi-industry websites or agency environments (preferred)
