Lead Reagent Manufacturing Associate
Skills
- Experience with molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, DNA sequencing)
- Experience in a high-complexity laboratory environment
- Hands-on experience with laboratory automation platforms
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving reagent manufacturing issues
- Inventory management and production scheduling
- Ability to author and execute verification, validation, and deviation documentation
- Ability to train and supervise laboratory personnel; must pass competency-based interview
Responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble, and qualify reagents to support the Clinical Laboratory
- Troubleshoot reagent manufacturing activities and qualification events
- Manage reagent inventory and maintain build schedules
- Train and supervise new operators on established reagent manufacturing methods
- Author and execute deviations, verifications, and validations for process changes
- Develop robust manufacturing and qualification techniques independently and with development teams
- Prepare and maintain reagent production documentation and records
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or related life sciences field
