Software Engineer
Skills
- 3+ years experience as a Software Engineer with production experience using Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Proficient writing SQL and working with relational or analytical databases (Postgres, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.).
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and improving data quality.
- Experience building and calling RESTful APIs; gRPC experience is a plus.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS and deploying services to production.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and services to support clinical workflows.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and clinical teams to define and implement new features.
- Implement, maintain, and improve data pipelines: cleaning, normalizing, and ensuring data quality.
- Write and maintain tests, documentation, and development best practices to ensure maintainability and rapid iteration.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs (and gRPC where applicable) and integrate with cloud services (GCP/AWS).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced degree (Master's) preferred but not required.
