Director of Growth

CodePath is a nonprofit reprogramming higher education to create AI-native engineers and tech leaders from underrepresented backgrounds. The Director of Growth will own student enrollment end-to-end, combining growth marketing, champion outreach, and product-led growth to scale enrollments toward a 100,000 annual target.

  • Product-led growth (PLG) strategy and backlog ownership
  • Paid media planning and budget management
  • HubSpot or equivalent marketing automation at scale
  • Attribution, funnel analysis, and A/B testing
  • AI-enabled tooling for personalization and automation
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Curriculum, and Partnerships
  • Team leadership and people development
  • Strong written and verbal communication across multiple audiences

Responsibilities

  • Own growth strategy and enrollment targets across acquisition, outreach, and enrollment lifecycle
  • Set channel mix and budget allocation across paid search, social, email, and outbound channels
  • Manage paid media budget with an ROI-first approach and reallocate spend based on attribution data
  • Own the product-led growth backlog and partner with Product to build and measure in-product growth features
  • Design audience segmentation and messaging for students, faculty, institutional champions, and partners
  • Run structured growth experiments (A/B tests, funnel analysis) and translate results into decisions
  • Own attribution infrastructure to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of lead sources
  • Manage and grow a small cross-functional growth team, adopting AI tools to scale impact
  • Define growth KPIs and report performance to senior leadership

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant certifications or coursework in marketing, analytics, or product are a plus
