About the Role

Cohere is seeking an experienced Brand Marketing Manager - Campaigns to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns focused specifically on brand awareness for Cohere. You'll work closely with our media agency partners to maximize reach, engagement, and brand recognition across digital and offline channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement paid media strategies to drive broad brand awareness across digital channels (social media, display, video, search, etc.); out-of-home advertising; audio advertising / podcasts; and more

  • Collaborate with media agency partners to plan, buy, and optimize campaigns that reach target audiences and build Cohere brand recognition

  • Monitor campaign performance each workday, make data-driven optimizations, and report on KPIs including reach, impressions, frequency, brand lift, and engagement

  • Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring optimal ROI and efficient spending

  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify opportunities and benchmark performance

  • Prepare regular performance reports for leadership, highlighting insights and recommendations

  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure alignment on brand messaging and goals

  • Work with creative teams to develop and test new messaging variants

  • Stay current with digital advertising trends, platform updates, and emerging opportunities

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 3-5 years in leading brand marketing campaigns on digital and traditional channels, with demonstrated ability to build platform-specific strategies and drive measurable awareness growth. B2B experience and/or tech industry experience preferred.

  • Creativity: Ability to create and amplify content that stands out in a crowded digital landscape, working with our Design and Content teams.

  • Strategic thinking: Skill in analyzing trends, audience behavior, and performance to inform decisions.

  • Adaptability: Comfort experimenting on new platforms and adjusting strategies based on emerging trends and technologies.

  • Collaboration: Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with designers, writers, marketers, PR, and product teams.

  • AI curiosity: Interest in leveraging AI tools for content creation and optimization, even without prior experience.
