Davidson Investment Advisors is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager to join our growing team. This role is an exciting opportunity to help serve and expand a key segment of our business while contributing to the strong culture of our firm. 


Summary: 

The Client Portfolio Manager plays a critical role in serving nonprofit, endowment, corporate, insurance, and charitable trust clients by helping them structure, manage, and steward their investment portfolios. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our business development, investment, and operations teams to deliver exceptional client experiences rooted in integrity, professionalism, and a deep understanding of financial markets.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, a passion for mission aligned investing, and the ability to build trust with complex institutional clients. While this role is primarily client service focused, it also plays an important part in driving the ongoing growth and refinement of this business segment.


 Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or nonprofit leadership

• Ability to work independently, analyze complex problems, and provide thoughtful, solutions-oriented recommendations

• Strong understanding of investment strategies and best practices for institutional and nonprofit clients

• Excellent organization and proficiency with Client Relationship Management systems

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office 

• Self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment effectively

• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability 

• Collaborative mindset with a commitment to contributing to team success.


Duties: 

• Provide exceptional client service to institutional clients of the firm

o Prepare and present to boards of directors and other decision makers

o Maintain consistent communication with staff and board members regarding market conditions, portfolio strategies, performance, and potential enhancements

o Collaborate with investment and operations teams to align investment strategies and operational deliverables with client needs

o Monitor client portfolios to ensure ongoing compliance with Investment Policies 

• Implement investment strategies for clients that align with their objectives and risk tolerances

• Prospect, pitch, and convert new institutional clients to our firm’s services

• Work closely with D.A. Davidson Financial Advisors to deliver integrated solutions for shared clients

• Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and optimize workflows; proactively seek ways to improve the team’s processes

• Perform any other duties and special projects as necessary Adhere to all the firm’s Code of Ethics and Policies and Procedures, as well as its Team Agreement, which is a commitment to the following behaviors:

The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate.
