QA Engineer
Skills
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
- Experience using AI-assisted testing tools or LLMs for test generation and data synthesis
- Strong API testing skills (REST/SOAP) with tools like Postman
- Familiarity integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Proficiency with Jira and test management tools (Xray, Zephyr, TestRail)
- Solid SQL skills and understanding of application data flows
- Knowledge of HIPAA/compliance and data security best practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and clear written/verbal communication
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites for cloud fax, IDP, eSign, and API integrations
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate test generation, identify coverage gaps, and synthesize test data
- Execute manual, automated, and exploratory testing across web, API, and backend systems
- Integrate and maintain CI/CD test pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and ensure tests run reliably in builds
- Partner with Development and Product to review requirements, identify quality risks early, and shift testing left
- Validate HIPAA and data security requirements throughout testing lifecycles
- Track, document, and triage defects in Jira and communicate severity and impact clearly
- Analyze test results and use AI-assisted analytics to find flaky tests and systemic issues
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new AI-powered QA tooling to improve efficiency and coverage
- Mentor teammates and advocate for testability and quality in product design
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- ISTQB or formal QA training is a plus
