Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical / Electrical Systems Engineer with 10–15 years of experience supporting complex DoD and aerospace programs. This position requires a highly self-motivated engineer with strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a demonstrated ability to drive engineering efforts from concept through production and delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in both mechanical and electrical design, work directly with manufacturing teams, and support proposal development including labor and material cost estimation. Aircraft systems experience is strongly preferred.
The proposed salary range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
