The expected hiring range for this position is:
$79,300.00-$104,400.00.Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. About the Role:
The Fermilab’s Magnet Systems Department is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (3-year term). Under general directions, you will be supporting the design, analysis, and development of superconducting magnets for particle accelerators. This role involves hands-on engineering work across design, simulation, R&D planning, procurement, coil fabrication, magnet assembly, magnet testing and data analysis. You will contribute to projects such as the Electron Ion Collider and participate in reviews by the Department of Energy (DOE).
