Technical Product Manager

Hellbender Inc. is an 80-person Pennsylvania Benefit Corporation that designs and manufactures edge AI devices and perception systems, handling everything from PCB design and assembly to full‑stack software and end‑of‑line testing. We are building Hellbender branded product lines and seek a Technical Product Manager to lead products from customer discovery through prototyping and high-volume production, coordinating engineering, production, procurement, marketing, and sales to deliver on time and on budget.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5+ years of product management experience
  • Strong technical foundation across software, firmware, mechanical, and electrical hardware
  • Experience leading cross-functional technical teams through the product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira
  • Excellent oral and written communication and high ownership mentality

Responsibilities

  • Build trust and strong relationships with stakeholders including customers, engineering teams, and executives
  • Define and prioritize features based on customer discovery, competitive analysis, and resource availability
  • Create and drive product development timelines while managing schedule, technical, and budget risks
  • Oversee transition from development to production and participate in process definition to ensure quality
  • Coordinate among engineering, production, procurement, marketing, and sales to execute product plans
  • Support go-to-market activities including e-commerce, marketing, and business development efforts

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field
  • Equivalent education and experience will be considered
