About the Role Intel is seeking GPU Software Development Engineers to join our media software team in Software Group, a global team dedicated to creating groundbreaking video and media experiences. In this role, you will contribute directly to developing innovative software solutions that drive Media and Video acceleration on Intel's graphics architecture for integrated and discrete GPUs.

Key Responsibilities As a GPU Software Development Engineer your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Develops new cross OS software that delivers Media and Video (Encode, Decode, and Processing) acceleration on Intel's graphics architecture and future integrated and discrete GPUs
• Scope can span the entire Intel Media SW stack, from media device drivers through runtimes, APIs and the application layer
• Scope also includes the tools, infrastructure, and technologies necessary to develop, profile, optimize, and productize Intel Media software solutions including Media IP pre-Si enabling on Simulation and Emulation, Si performance and quality optimization for Intel GPUs platforms
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineer, electrical engineer or an STEM related field with over 3+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in similar domains with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Relevant Experience from one or more of the following includes:
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in media device driver and SDK development
• Expertise in optimizing software for GPU performance
• Previous work on Si performance and quality optimization
• Familiarity with simulation and emulation platforms
• Passion for staying updated with emerging GPU and Media technologies

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $149,600.00-211,200.00 USD
