Mudflap serves the $800B trucking industry, the backbone of the U.S. economy. Our market-leading payment products help truckers save thousands of dollars on fuel (their #1 business expense), while providing our fuel stop partners with access to new, hard-to-reach customers. We’re a fast-growing marketplace business looking for a new customer-obsessed teammate to join us on this exciting journey.
As a Senior Product Manager, Growth, you will drive growth by owning key surfaces spanning onboarding, activation, engagement, and monetization. You'll lead experimentation, shape roadmaps, and work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Operations to deliver high-impact product experiences. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, grounded in direct customer insight from the owner-operators and small fleets we serve, and accelerated by a data-driven, AI-forward approach to product development.
In this role, you will:
Own key growth surfaces across Mudflap’s app and card products, focusing on onboarding, activation, engagement, and monetization.
Identify and prioritize growth opportunities through funnel analysis, customer research, and product intuition.
Lead rapid experimentation cycles (A/B tests, feature iterations, onboarding improvements) with clear hypotheses and measurable success metrics.
Develop and execute a roadmap of growth initiatives, balancing new bets with improvements to existing customer journeys.
Partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver intuitive, high-trust product experiences.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Data, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support to deliver cohesive end-to-end growth initiatives.
Engage directly with truckers and fleet operators to understand workflows, constraints, and motivations that influence product adoption.
Define, track, and communicate key growth metrics, using data and experimentation results to guide product decisions.
Leverage AI tools and technologies to accelerate product discovery, experimentation, and development, and identify opportunities to incorporate AI into Mudflap’s product experience.
What we look for:
5+ years of product management experience with meaningful ownership of customer-facing products (mobile or web).
Demonstrated success driving product-led growth through experimentation, iteration, and measurable improvements in key metrics.
Strong understanding of onboarding flows, activation mechanics, and engagement loops.
Comfortable working with data, including funnel analysis, cohort retention, and experimentation results.
Experience partnering closely with engineering, design, data, and marketing to ship high-quality product experiences.
Excellent prioritization, communication, and execution skills in fast-moving environments.
Track record of translating customer insights and data into impactful product improvements.
Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate product development, analysis, or experimentation, and curiosity about applying AI to create better product experiences.
Bonus: experience building for SMBs, marketplaces, fintech, logistics, or independent operators.
