C/C++ Software Engineer, TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance Required, Onsite
The team is seeking a Software Engineer to implement, test, and operate using advanced software security techniques in compliance with the technical reference architecture to enhance software systems. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph security clearance. This is a 100% Onsite position and not open for Hybrid and/or Remote.
C/C++ Software Engineer Responsibilities:
- Perform on-going security testing and participate in code reviews to improve software security and features.
- Debug, design, and code new software or modify existing software.
- Provide and recommend engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Contribute on all levels of the architecture and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with team members and exchange knowledge on secure coding practices.
- Ability to develop familiarity with new tools and best practices.
C/C++ Software Engineer Qualifications:
- Must have an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.
- 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 4 years of additional Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated work experience with Open Source (NoSQL) products such as Hbase/Accumulo, Big Table, etc.
- A minimum of 6 years demonstrated experience out of the most recent 8 years developing production software for Solaris or Linux environments.
- 6 years of experience developing software using Java programming language or C/C++.
- Demonstrated work experience developing RESTful services.
- Demonstrated work experience in Java development.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Previous experience developing analytics applications.
