Responsibilities
- Build, hire, and manage a distributed SRE/operations team across multiple time zones to support a 24/7/365 service.
- Own day-to-day health, uptime, and reliability of networks, servers, storage, and related infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations peers to define requirements, schedules, and technical acceptance criteria.
- Drive technical direction for service delivery, operational processes, and software automation.
- Perform technical deep dives, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis for large-scale Linux and network systems.
- Identify tactical issues and emerging risks, and produce reports/feedback to inform long-term technical solutions.
- Represent SRE concerns and operational readiness in executive-level discussions and release decisions.
- Travel domestically and internationally to data centers and offices as required.
Education
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications are desirable but not required
