- 3+ years machining and hands-on CNC experience
- Knowledge and application of GD&T
- Process planning and SOP creation
- Inspection planning and basic metrology understanding
- Ability to collaborate with design and engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Create process plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), inspection plans, and work-holding/fixture designs for machined parts
- Improve manufacturing processes by developing and deploying new technologies and methodologies
- Advise design teams on design-for-manufacturability, GD&T, and datum/stack-up decisions
- Recommend and implement design updates to improve manufacturability
- Investigate non-conforming hardware, perform root-cause analysis, and define corrective actions
Education
- B.S. in Engineering or comparable STEM field
