- Designing and implementing test fixtures, tooling, and integrated test systems
- Data analysis for test results and leading root-cause analysis
- Hands-on experience with leak checking, sensor instrumentation, and functional checkouts
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and mitigation for test hazards
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and refine test assets, tooling, and processes for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies.
- Design or source test equipment, author test specifications and procedures, and create mBOMs and work orders.
- Lead test sequencing, training, and production test campaigns to ensure scalable, reliable execution.
- Provide technical leadership for workcenter development, safety compliance, tooling, and capital equipment alignment.
- Support shop-floor personnel with hands-on troubleshooting and provide design-for-testability/manufacturability feedback.
- Analyze test data, identify recurring discrepancies, lead root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with design, production, supply chain, and quality to align manufacturing test processes.
Education
- BS in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years experience building and testing hardware in a manufacturing environment
