Front End Developer (Top Secret Clearance, Denver)

Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are seeking a Denver-area front-end developer who has an active Top Secret Clearance to join our team.

If you have Angular experience and a solid understanding of key web application design principles, you might be a great fit in helping us solve some of our nation’s most complex space app user experience challenges. 

We are a small company dispersed across the U.S. Our work can be challenging and complex, but our team is fun, friendly, and supportive. 

This is a hybrid role in Greenwood Village, CO. The developer is required to be onsite twice a week, with the remaining three workdays being remote. 

Due to the nature of our work, this person needs to already have Active Top Secret Clearance.

• You are a strong front-end developer with 3+ years experience developing complex, intelligent, and secure web applications with modern web technologies, prioritizing client-side development.
• You have experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript ES6+).
• You are knowledgeable about modern frameworks, with a strong preference for Angular experience.
• You have experience using ServiceNow.
• You have experience with or a strong interest in map libraries and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js).
• You understand W3C compliance.
• You understand key web application design principles.
• You enjoy working closely with both internal and external design teams, enjoy the UI/UX design process, and ensure the feasibility of the design, clarify ambiguous designs, and build reusable code and components.
• You have an Active Top Secret Clearance.
• You are willing to work onsite a few days a week (likely two) in Greenwood Village, CO.
• You are a US Citizen who lives in the USA (due to Rocket's work with local and federal government agencies this is a firm requirement).

• Expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language– ideally Go or Java– or Ruby, Python, PHP, or C++
• Understanding of government and enterprise work
• Experience in server-side development
