About the Role
The client is looking for a detail-oriented, technically sharp, and creative AI Site Merchandiser to join their Strategy & Innovation team. This role sits at the intersection of eCommerce site merchandising and generative AI — the candidate will be responsible for building high-converting branded storefronts, A+ content, and product detail pages across Amazon and other marketplaces, with an emphasis on leveraging AI tools to accelerate and elevate creative output.
The candidate will also support the company's internal brand during any idle time between client projects, creating social media content and marketing assets that help tell their story.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and maintain branded storefronts, A+ pages, and product detail pages on Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
- Use generative AI tools (e.g. Pomelli, Runway, Midjourney, Nano Banana, Veo) to accelerate creative production — image editing, content generation, copy variation, and design wireframing
- Edit images and video assets using Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Firefly, etc.); wireframe designs for client approval
- Track content performance metrics, record successful tactics, and iterate to improve conversion rates over time
- Coordinate with the S&I, Ops, and Marketing teams to organize and execute seasonal promotions and product launches
- Communicate proactively with clients to ensure a seamless, professional experience — serving as a first line of defense for client-facing communications related to site merchandising
- Attend internal business meetings and contribute to strategic discussions on sales growth, demand planning, and reporting
- During idle time between client projects, create social media content and marketing assets for the company's own channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
- Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Firefly) — extremely proficient or expert level
- Working knowledge of generative AI tools for content and image creation (e.g. Pomelli, Runway, Midjourney, Nano Banana, Veo)
- Strong written communication skills in English — professional, clear, and proactive
- Experience building Amazon A+ content, brand storefronts, and/or enhanced product detail pages
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Walmart, Target, or other eCommerce marketplace content
- Familiarity with social media content creation and scheduling tools
- Basic video editing capabilities
- Experience with Amazon reporting and performance analytics
Working Conditions & Expectations
- Must be willing to work EST hours (M–F, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST)
- Must be available via Slack, WhatsApp, and email during working hours
- This is a full-time role — no secondary employment during the engagement
