Staff Credit Data Analyst - Cards
Skills
- Strong SQL and Python proficiency for data extraction and analysis
- Experience with credit bureau data, underwriting, and credit card lifecycle analytics
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Experience with data automation tools (AWS Glue, Airflow, dbt) and reporting tools (Tableau preferred, Looker, Power BI)
- Experiment design and champion/challenger testing experience
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and data quality best practices
Responsibilities
- Design, monitor, and analyze card underwriting strategies and credit line increase programs
- Execute and monitor recurring credit lifecycle programs (CLI, acquisition campaigns, prescreens)
- Support champion/challenger tests and experiment design for lifecycle strategies
- Query, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python; perform EDA and feature engineering
- Design data assets, dashboards, and automations to track customer behavior and credit performance
- Evaluate alternative data sources and help incorporate them into decisioning flows
- Partner with Product and Engineering to implement policy and decisioning updates
- Document credit strategies, decisioning workflows, and present insights to stakeholders
- Support model performance tracking and credit bureau coordination
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field
- Advanced degree (MS, MFin, or equivalent) is a plus
