Mission Engineer

SSI is seeking a Mission Engineer for a role in Chantilly, VA.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Engage with the Warfighter Integration Cell (WIC) and Warfighters and other organizations to define specific mission sets and how the PWSA implements and executes them.
- Support the Technical Director and Front Office in external engagement.
- Supports development of CONOPS, OPSCON, use cases, and modeling and simulation capabilities to represent the appropriate mission cases.
- Performs trade studies and develops courses of action for PWSA capabilities and requirements.
- Works with the Requirements Lead to perform functional analysis to create requirements for the Enterprise and for Technical Requirements Documents in support of solicitation development.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or relevant technical discipline.
- 10+ years experience.
- Understanding of satellite acquisition and operations technology best practices.
- Familiarity with MBSE desired for representation of mission capabilities.
- Strong written and oral communications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- TS/SCI clearance required.
