Skills
- Bachelor’s in electrical/computer engineering or related with electronics emphasis
- 1+ years experience in electronic hardware development or software development (projects/internships/professional)
- 1+ years programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or Embedded C/C++
- Experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, DAQs and other electronic test instrumentation
- Ability to analyze circuits, read schematics, and design/troubleshoot PCBAs
- Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzer, VNA, signal generators) preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom test solutions for flight electronics, optics, RF components, and electro-mechanical hardware
- Select COTS hardware or design custom PCBAs to measure signals, apply flight-like loads, and power units under test
- Write automation software (Python) to control units under test, instrumentation, and production systems
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test lab teams to improve design for testability, reliability, and yield
- Perform root-cause analysis of anomalies and implement mitigations to ensure product requirements are met
- Execute test plans, record data, and update production documentation and test procedures
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related engineering discipline with emphasis in electronics (required)
- Relevant academic projects, internships, or professional experience in avionics or electronics testing
