Skills
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing test environment
- Ability to read technical drawings, datasheets, and work instructions
- Experience with fault isolation tools such as flying probe and AOI
- Proven root cause analysis and problem-solving using quality tools (SPC, PFMEA, DOE)
- Experience maintaining and repairing electrical test equipment and components
Responsibilities
- Operate, program, and maintain automated electrical test equipment for PCBs
- Perform standardized testing, R&D projects, and root cause analysis on failing units
- Triage non-conforming product and drive corrective and preventative actions
- Work closely with design and production engineering to provide test feedback and implement design-for-test improvements
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects targeting yield, performance, and cost
- Define and execute maintenance and calibration schedules for test equipment
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and electro-mechanical failures independently
- Implement and qualify test fixtures and verify production readiness
Education
- High school diploma or equivalency (required)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, or science (preferred)
