- Hands-on semiconductor/electronics manufacturing experience
- SPC, DOE, and 8D problem-solving proficiency
- Equipment troubleshooting and process recipe development
- Cleanroom (Class 100) gowning and procedures
- Experience handling silicon wafers and safe chemical handling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with JMP statistical software
- Ability to read technical documentation and maintain SOPs
- Shift flexibility for day and rotating shift schedules
Responsibilities
- Write, maintain, and train on standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assume ownership of area processes and equipment and obtain equipment qualifications
- Monitor SPC control charts and execute corrective actions for violations
- Support new product introductions and sustain existing products/processes
- Create and optimize process and metrology recipes
- Identify, contain, troubleshoot, and partition quality issues
- Drive continuous process improvement projects to improve yield and reduce cycle time
- Run experiments, execute DOE, document results, and present findings
- Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and suppliers
- Participate in cross-functional teams and support ISO-quality activities
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years technician experience in semiconductor/electronics/manufacturing
- OR Associate's degree (or greater) in a STEM discipline with 1+ years technician experience in semiconductor/electronics/manufacturing
