Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of construction engineers focused on site facility development, value engineering, and construction.
- Coordinate project requirements with operations, perform constructability assessments, and prioritize work timelines.
- Manage all phases of development projects and organize schedules to align with site operations.
- Prepare and manage capital expenditure processes including reviews, approvals, and execution of site capital projects.
- Manage external contractors: solicit proposals, develop specifications, oversee supplier selection, and supervise execution.
- Ensure construction compliance with technical specifications, codes, standards, and inspection processes.
- Guide permitting efforts across multiple jurisdictions and coordinate inspections.
- Develop cost estimates, material requisitions, plans, and specifications for small and large multi-disciplinary projects.
- Communicate schedules and building activities to personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet targeted deadlines.
- Provide technical support for operations and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and utilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management (required)
- Professional certifications or licensure (PE, CCM) preferred
