- Experience creating production-ready manufacturing documentation
Responsibilities
- Develop electro-mechanical wire harness designs for Starlink vehicles using 3D CAD
- Create electrical schematics supporting flight and qualification designs
- Perform mechanical and electrical analysis and physical testing (thermal, loads, vibration, shock) for harness qualification
- Manage vehicle-level harness assemblies and systems-integration trade studies
- Produce and release harness manufacturing documentation and drawings on schedule
- Interface with harness production and integration teams to ensure producibility and timely installation
- Lead R&D investigations and trade studies to reduce harness mass and cost
- Document and present design, analysis, and test results in design reviews
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (required)
- Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field (preferred)
