Skills
- Hands-on experience with industrial machinery, tooling, and automation
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, fluid, and electrical component issues
- Familiarity with IoT sensor integration and condition-based monitoring
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance program development
- Competency with data tools (SQL, PowerBI) for monitoring and reporting
- Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, GD&T, and OEM manuals
Responsibilities
- Own equipment improvement plans and maintenance strategies to maximize production equipment availability
- Define, develop, and refine preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including operator tasks and technician procedures
- Develop BOMs and select critical spare parts for key assets
- Integrate equipment into IoT systems for real-time performance monitoring and design sensor integrations for predictive triggers
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to drive reliability improvements
- Coordinate cross-functionally with production, tooling, automation, and design teams for iterative equipment improvements and overhauls
- Implement and monitor maintenance/reliability KPIs (e.g., OEE, MTBF, MTTR) and provide technical support during commissioning and production
- Manage production requests for asset improvements and data collection
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (required)
- Advanced degree in engineering or related field (preferred)
