Skills
- 5+ years of RF/microwave circuit design experience
- Experience with 3D EM simulation tools (HFSS, CST, FEKO, etc.)
- Design familiarity with PAs, LNAs, mixers, filters and PLLs
- Hands-on use of RF test equipment (VSA, VSG, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer)
- Knowledge of digital communication systems and modulation schemes (QPSK, QAM, APSK)
- RF design tools experience (ADS, AWR, HFSS) and PCB layout (Altium)
- Programming for modeling and test automation (Matlab, Python, C++, LabVIEW)
- Experience at microwave frequencies and Ku/Ka/V/E-band design
Responsibilities
- Simulate and model end-to-end communication systems and RF links
- Design, implement, and verify RF/microwave circuits and subsystems for satellites and ground terminals
- Collaborate with system architects, antenna, modem/DSP, and ASIC engineers to partition hardware/software functions
- Derive top-level RF link specifications and RF/antenna subsystem requirements
- Assess feasibility and trade-offs to support architectural definition
- Characterize and analyze system-level RF performance and produce verification data
- Provide technical support for regulatory, coordination, and market access activities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field (required)
- Master’s degree in EE or related with RF/microwave emphasis (preferred)
