Skills
- 7+ years building complex web-based SaaS products
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and performing prompt engineering
- Database proficiency with relational (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
- Strong full-stack architecture and system design skills
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder collaboration
Responsibilities
- Own technical strategy and implementation for core Steer CRM components with a focus on data ingestion and automation.
- Design and architect scalable full-stack components and services for performance and maintainability.
- Integrate and operationalize LLM/AI features and drive prompt engineering practices.
- Pivot between feature work and integrations to meet evolving business priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Product to translate user pain points into pragmatic technical solutions.
- Champion code quality: security best practices, test automation, and thorough code reviews.
- Improve CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code to enhance developer experience and reliability.
- Mentor engineers and elevate engineering standards across the organization.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Equivalent professional experience considered in lieu of formal degree
- Open to candidates from diverse educational and non-traditional backgrounds
