Join our team as a part-time Librarian, Reference Associate, where you'll provide exceptional virtual reference services and support student learning outcomes in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities: Provide reference and research assistance to students, faculty, and staff, promote library services, and troubleshoot technical issues, while collaborating with team members.
Skills: Strong customer service focus, experience with diverse adult learners, knowledge of library research methods, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other library software.
Qualifications: A Master of Librarian & Information Science (MLIS) or Master of Library Science (MLS) is required, along with 1-3 years of relevant academic library experience preferred.
Location: This position is fully remote, with required working hours in Central time.
Compensation: $22 - $33 / Hourly
Academic reference librarian. This part time professional role provides and promotes effective delivery of virtual reference services that facilitate student development and achievement of learning outcomes. This position is highly customer focused and is often the first point of contact with the library staff. This position reports to the Supervisor – Reference Services and works cooperatively with other library staff to support library services.

$24.00 is the expected starting pay for this position. This offer is based on current budgetary guidelines and additional factors outlined below.
