Skills
- Requirements management with DOORS and/or Jama
- Knowledge of automotive ECUs and related methodologies
- Experience with data buses: CAN, PCIe, Ethernet, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, I2C
- High-speed signaling and signal integrity expertise
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Ability to manage priorities and multiple deliverables across teams and time zones
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations
Responsibilities
- Develop automotive hardware components that satisfy functional safety, security, and functional requirements
- Author, maintain and analyze technical requirements and ensure traceability in DOORS and Jama
- Decompose system-level requirements into component- level requirements with the Systems team
- Collaborate with Tier-1 suppliers to remove technical blockers and enable project execution
- Design and implement test plans that trace back to component requirements to ensure quality of hardware deliveries
- Partner with component enablement and software teams to execute hardware component tests
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues across design, prototype, and production phases
- Create and maintain technical documentation and test reports
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with 5+ years experience
- OR Master's degree in a related field with 3+ years experience
