Required Degree: Master's degree required; PhD preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience: At least 2 years of university-level teaching experience required. Experience in teaching writing preferred.
Duties/Expectations: This position is for an adjunct writing instructor who will specialize in providing one-to-one writing instruction for graduate students in the University Research & Writing Center. This position will support graduate student writers from disciplines across the university on various writing projects, including course assignments, journal articles, theses, and dissertation chapters. In addition to a proven record as a writing teacher, ideal candidates should have experience working on complex writing projects and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to helping students succeed.
