- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Organizational and critical thinking abilities
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance new and existing products and product lines using 3D CAD.
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and feedback to inform product concepts.
- Create manufacturable technical drawings, installation drawings, and supporting documentation.
- Evaluate and recommend specifications to meet technical and functional requirements.
- Perform feasibility, functional, and quality testing of designs and iterate accordingly.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and other engineering teams to align designs with production capabilities and compliance standards.
- Recommend and implement reliable, efficient, and cost-effective engineering procedures.
- Manage project milestones, timelines, and multiple concurrent tasks.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience required
- Equivalent relevant experience considered in lieu of formal degree
