Responsibilities
- Lead school-wide instructional strategy, curriculum implementation, and assessment-driven instruction
- Coach, evaluate, and develop teachers using formal observations, walkthroughs, and weekly feedback
- Design and deliver regular professional development and teacher collaboration structures
- Oversee Special Education program and ensure high achievement for program participants
- Implement and sustain school culture systems (PBIS) and behavior management practices
- Manage daily school operations including facilities, food services, data systems, and safety
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and charter-sponsor reporting and accountability
- Lead student recruitment and retention efforts to meet annual enrollment goals
- Engage families and community partners; act as the primary community-facing school leader
- Collaborate with Home Office/Operations and HR on budgeting, staffing, and performance management
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related discipline (required)
- Advanced degree in Education or Educational Leadership (strongly preferred)
- Current valid Principal and Teacher license (required)
- Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks
