Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Manufacturing Engineers supporting fluid systems production.
- Define and own manufacturing strategy for tube bending, orbital tube welding (OTW), TIG welding, cleaning, assembly, and pressure testing.
- Oversee design, development, and implementation of bending and welding cells to meet production demands.
- Drive first-build and test activities, author specifications, develop mBOMs, work orders, and assembly sequencing.
- Create and maintain manufacturing plans, assembly procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
- Facilitate day-to-day production of bent tubes, OTW, and manually welded tubing, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with design, integration, quality, and external vendors to ensure timely program execution.
- Develop tooling, automation, and process improvements to increase throughput and reduce cost.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (required)
- Advanced degree in a related field (preferred)
