Description

Vector Solutions is the leader in providing industry-focused SaaS solutions that connect content and technology. Vector’s unique product set aims at training and learning management, continuing education (CE), compliance, workforce scheduling, safety management, and more.

Our mission is to empower everyday heroes in the public, educational, and commercial sectors to make safer, smarter, and better decisions.

Vector Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and strategic FP&A Analyst to play a key role in the financial management and strategic decision-making processes within the Company. This role will be instrumental in driving financial insight and supporting strategic decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, demonstrate the ability to think critically and problem solve, and partner effectively with cross-functional teams both within finance and across the firm. The FP&A Analyst will partner with senior leadership across the firm to build strong interdepartmental relationships to facilitate and develop strategic and investment business plans, build KPIs, evaluate financial performance, and be an asset across the firm. In addition, this role will involve special projects and ad hoc requests that may require additional effort to meet deadlines.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our business drivers, P&L levers, and performance management processes to serve as a trusted partner across the department and firm.
  • Produce accurate monthly and quarterly reporting packages (income statement, balance sheet, cashflows) and deliver analytics, variance analysis, and lender reporting on a GAAP and Proforma basis.
  • Lead annual budget planning, managing information flow across business lines and providing actionable analysis to improve forecasting and planning.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, dashboards, and ad hoc analytics to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Operations to navigate Salesforce.com data needs; collaborate effectively without role overlap.
  • Serve as administrator for Adaptive Planning and OfficeConnect: building reports, troubleshooting, and developing new views to improve usability.
  • Design automated, scalable processes (coding/scripting as needed) to manage large, cross-functional datasets across Revenue, ACV, and Headcount.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, streamline reporting, and improve data accuracy and governance.
  • Drive multiple projects simultaneously while meeting recurring reporting deadlines, demonstrating reliability, problem-solving, and high-quality delivery.
  • Create executive-level presentations to summarize results and deliver clear, value-added insights.
  • Generate monthly analytics and variance analysis for each member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to help manage spending and performance, identifying trends and partnering with departments to provide insight and further assessment/analysis when appropriate.
  • Ensure consistent, reliable work by checking work, communicating status/progress, fully understanding the deliverables, showing a clear understanding of what is represented in the work product, and formulating value-added insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, corporate finance, or comparable roles.
  • Advanced in Excel; proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of Adaptive Planning (required), including OfficeConnect administration, troubleshooting, and custom reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com structure, navigation, and data reporting.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; ability to manage and interpret large datasets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional project management with attention to detail and ability to manage workload in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Experience in a PE-sponsored or SaaS organization preferred.

What You Can Expect From Us:

  • Friendly, open, and casual work environment
  • Comprehensive benefits package effective the first of the month after hire

  • Healthy work-life balance with flexible work arrangements and generous time off
