Software Engineer (Infrastructure)

We’re not rockstars or ninjas, just a team of developers working to make life a little easier for doctors and their patients. Our platform, built on a Ruby on Rails API with AngularJS and React front-end, helps our client’s practices manage appointments, track drug inventory, send reminders, and handle insurance claims. We deploy on AWS and are continuing to scale.

We're looking for a Software Engineer (Infrastructure Focus) to help us grow and strengthen our infrastructure, streamline our development processes, and support our engineering team. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities that will keep the work engaging and provide continuous opportunities to grow and develop your skills.

• Improve and maintain our CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and improve infrastructure automation
• Monitor and manage our AWS-based cloud infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and debug production systems
• Work closely with product and application engineers to support infrastructure needs and deployment patterns

• You're proactive and get things done
• You enjoy learning and exploring new technologies
• You collaborate with others and thrive in a team environment
• You know how to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

• Linux systems (Debian)
• Writing MySQL queries
• Deploying Node/Yarn, Ruby/Rails
• Monitoring tools like Datadog and Rollbar

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (Infrastructure), Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or a similar role
• Programming, scripting, and automation experience (e.g., Python, Ruby, Bash, Go)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Cloud infrastructure, AWS preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
