Skills
- DSP implementation experience for embedded devices and/or software defined radios
- Strong HDL design experience in VHDL or Verilog
- Hands-on experience with Xilinx SoC/FPGA platforms
- Bring-up experience with high-speed digital interfaces (PCIe, JESD)
- Experience with Linux development environment and tools (Git, gcc, etc.)
- Experience leading FPGA engineering teams and coordinating PCB development
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end FPGA design and verification on Xilinx SoC/FPGA platforms
- Integrate and test VHDL DSP modules into larger systems
- Design custom, optimized HDL for software defined radios
- Bring up high-speed digital boards and interfaces (PCIe, JESD, etc.)
- Develop drivers for custom RF component boards (PLLs, mixed-signal front ends)
- Drive cross-functional integration with software and electrical engineering teams
- Establish and improve robust FPGA design processes and verification flows
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred but not required
