Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier selection and partner with approved supplier list for product-specific sourcing
- Develop and execute sourcing strategy including supplier rationalization and commodity pricing plans
- Collaborate with suppliers on joint design development, statements of work, and technical simulations
- Manage all NPI component procurement to meet on-time and correct delivery for production scale-up
- Drive cost engineering activities to align bottoms-up cost curves with product cost and maximize TCO
- Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOMs with Quality and Manufacturing to support ramp
- Perform BOM risk assessments and part-level analysis to mitigate supply risk
- Coordinate supplier CAPEX requests and verification during NPI
- Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize lead time and supply network flexibility
- Address ad-hoc cost impacts such as tariffs, import/export costs, and inflation
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or related technical degree
- Eligible to obtain U.S. security clearance
