Senior Tactical C2 Software Engineer, Cloud
Skills
- Proficiency in at least one C2 platform domain: Cloud, Mobile, or Embedded
- Experience with modern full-stack technologies (e.g., Python, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, React)
- Experience with cloud and container technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
- Embedded systems development experience (C++, Rust, Embedded Linux, NixOS) for embedded-track roles
- API design and client/server networking (REST, protobuf/gRPC, TCP/UDP/Multicast)
- Experience building offline-capable or local-first UI software and real-time telemetry systems
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy real-time moving-map user interfaces for mission command and autonomous teams.
- Define and implement APIs and services for datalink communications, telemetry, situational awareness, robotics control, and sensor data.
- Develop full-stack systems and applications spanning backend, frontend, and deployment pipelines.
- Integrate and test software using high-fidelity simulation, benchtop hardware, and live flight exercises at test sites.
- Provide on-call support and iterate with internal and external stakeholders to meet user requirements.
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field (required)
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
