- Active U.S. Secret clearance (must be maintainable)
- 12+ years professional hardware product development
- Deep proficiency in PCB layout techniques and schematic interpretation
- Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent E-CAD tools
- Familiarity with standard interfaces: Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB
- Experience with MCU, CPU, and FPGA devices
- Knowledge of modern analog and digital circuit design
- Low-level firmware development for bring-up and test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end PCB design: requirements capture, schematic design, component selection, layout supervision and completion
- Perform bring-up, test, debug, and system integration of hardware
- Design across high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power domains
- Drive rapid prototyping, design verification, and qualification activities
- Establish and enforce DFM/DFx and quality fabrications/assembly guidelines
- Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews
- Develop low-level firmware for hardware bring-up and test
- Perform root-cause analysis to support production and fielded units
- Coordinate multiple concurrent projects and customers in a fast-paced environment
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS) in EE or related field preferred
