DEPT® is a global, tech-driven digital agency delivering integrated marketing and technology services for major brands. The Senior Account Manager, Paid Search will own paid search performance, client relationships, and a direct report while designing and executing paid search strategies across retail media and platform channels.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of paid search channels (Google Ads, Microsoft/Bing Ads, Apple Search Ads)
  • Experience with retail media networks and e-commerce paid media
  • Strong analytics and data interpretation skills
  • Budgeting, bidding strategies, and testing methodology
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and QBR/FBR content
  • Client-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Team leadership and mentorship experience
  • Familiarity with platform/vendor relationship management

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute paid search channel strategy across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Apple Search Ads and retail media networks
  • Manage performance of assigned client portfolios to meet efficiency, growth, budget, and reporting targets
  • Lead client communications including weekly calls, status updates, QBRs/FBRs, and written recommendations
  • Develop roadmaps, testing plans, dashboards, and prioritized optimization initiatives
  • Coordinate with platform/vendor reps to identify opportunities and maintain best practices
  • Oversee QA process to ensure error-free delivery of account work
  • Manage at least one direct report and mentor for professional development
  • Collaborate with growth teams and Account Leads to align paid media with holistic client roadmaps
  • Quantify impact of initiatives and prioritize efforts that drive the greatest account performance gains

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not strictly required; equivalent professional experience accepted
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics) encouraged
